Building a Horse Yard with Brazzen Equipment
Round Yard
Use 5 rail or 6 rail horse panels to build a 16.7m diameter round yard for lunging, training, and breaking in. Add a height adjustable gate for horseback entry and exit.
Holding Yard
Configure horse panels into a rectangular or square holding yard for overnight stays, agistment, or pre-ride preparation. Size to suit the number of horses you need to hold.
Feeding Setup
Add a hay ring or feeder inside the holding yard or in the paddock to provide round or square bale access with minimal wastage.
Portable Setup
Use the same horse panels to build a portable yard that can be set up at events, shows, or different locations on your property as needed.

Do You Have Any Questions ?
As your local authorised Brazzen distributor, we want to make sure you get the right equipment for your property. Here are answers to the questions we hear most often.
What is the difference between horse panels and cattle panels?
Horse panels and cattle panels are both built from galvanised steel but are designed with different animals in mind. Horse panels typically feature a taller profile and closer rail spacing to suit the height and behaviour of horses. Cattle panels are designed for the size and weight of cattle. If you are running horses, we recommend using Brazzen horse panels rather than cattle panels for a safer and more appropriate containment setup.
How many panels do I need to build a round yard?
The number of panels depends on the diameter of your round yard and the length of each panel. Our standard 16.7m round yard plan specifies the exact panel count needed. Contact us for the full panel list.
Can I mix 5 rail and 6 rail panels in the same yard?
Yes. Both 5 and 6 rail panels use the same connection system and can be mixed in the same yard. Some horse owners use 6 rail panels on sections where horses are more likely to test the fence and 5 rail panels on quieter sections.
Are the height adjustable gates available in both 5 and 6 rail?
Yes. The Brazzen In-Frame Height Adjustable Gate is available in both 5 rail and 6 rail configurations to match your panel choice.
Do you have horse hay feeders in stock?
Yes. We stock Brazzen horse hay rings and feeders. Contact us to confirm current stock availability and sizing options.
Do you deliver horse equipment?
Yes. We provide delivery across Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula. Pick up is also available from our three locations in Morwell North, Lang Lang, and Sale.
